Traditionally Wound

To the Traditionally Wound, bluegrass music is not just about the music. Family, friends, good times and bad, wind their way into their music and create an atmosphere that is warm, friendly and real.

They are as comfortable ripping into the hard driving instrumentals, as they are with the vocally rich ballads.

Formed in 2007, Traditionally Wound is comprised of a richly talented group of Canadian veteran bluegrass musicians.

Although fairly new as a band, the members are no strangers to the stage which is apparent the first time you see them. Their comfortable way of expressing their music and the open, obvious fun they experience every time they play is what Traditionally Wound is all about.

Keeping their music rooted in the traditional sound allows a focal point for the band to bring together the individual talents of the group to a common end… Real. Good. Bluegrass.

Blackwater

Jamie Myles, Russ & Ken Brillinger (brothers) are otherwise known as ‘Blackwater’.

These talented men have been playing in local towns for over 5 years, with a long love and history of playing great rock and roll!  Jamie plays bass, keyboards and is lead vocalist.  Russ plays drums and percussion and Ken, the guitars.  The band performs music from the ‘classic rock’ era and they stay balanced between being ‘technical’ and being ‘danceable’.  Their music varies throughout the sixties, seventies, and right up to current tunes. In addition to the old rock and roll, audiences are entertained with the band’s performance of their original written music.

The Blackwater Band is pure entertainment and a great welcome to any party, event, and just about any occasion that needs a musical lift!

The Fabulous Tonemasters

The Fabulous Tonemasters are Gerry Archer, guitar and vocals, Vince Ruttan, bass and vocals, and the heartbeat of the band, Albert Dobrini on drums.

There has been a version of The Tonemasters fopr over twelve years now, but this iteration has come into itsa own. Borrowing heavily from gery's early influences, they have moulded a poten gumbo of funk, blues, and R&B that is very infectious. Add to that Gerry's rabid quest for the ultimate guitar tones, you can get an idea of what your in for.

Skin Davey

Skin Davey is a Canadian top 40 rock band formed in 2005 in Cobourg Ontario by lead voacalist Kris Kelly with its ever changing line-up featuring some of Northumberland's most talented musicians. The Band's most recent incarnation consists of Kris Kelly (guitar/vocals), Shaun Savoy (lead guitar/vocals), Dave O'Hara (bass/vocals) and Troy Howard (drum/percussion/juice harp). During the Hockey season you can catch Skin Davey gettin' the crowd pumped up while The Cobourg Cougars play at the CCC.  They are currently working on writing and recording songs for their next album but all in all, slappin some skin and giving back to the community seems to be Skin's thing!
