CANADA DAY WEEKEND
During your visit you will quickly discover why we are extremely proud of our community. We have cultivated a friendly and welcoming atmosphere through our many attractions and features. We are confident that you will be like many visitors who have enjoyed the Cobourg experience so much they become regular visitors.
Although we have much to offer over all 4 seasons two features that are very close to the Waterfront Festival are our walk-able heritage downtown and waterfront. Just a few more of our attractions are summer concerts in Victoria Park; beach volleyball, and triathlon competitions each August; a spring-to-winter Farmer's Market; a Winter Festival in February; year-round theatre productions, Christmas Magic in November and December, and outdoor skating in the Rotary Waterfront Park to name a few.
For a complete list of the many events and activities in Cobourg see our Tourism site and you will find there is something for everyone.
You can be active on our hiking, biking and walking trails, or at any of our many sports and recreation facilities, including our new $27 million Cobourg Community Centre, or just relax and rejuvenate at our beautiful pristine Victoria Park beach.
If you are looking for shopping or dining, many visitors love our heritage downtown streetscape, while some wish to visit our northwest quadrant where you will find The Northumberland Mall and Strathy Place both of which offer exciting shopping opportunities with many national retail stores.
Regardless of your choice of activity or interest, we look forward to making the Cobourg experience memorable for you on this visit and many more visits.
