Mayor's Welcome
Welcome to Cobourg and the 20th Annual Canada Day weekend extravaganza, and thank you for making this your destination of choice as we join with you in celebrating Canada’s 143rd birthday.
Cobourg will be presenting you with a rich fabric of exciting events to make your stay a memorable one. We urge you to take in our Canada Day Parade on July 1st and enjoy the activities in Victoria Park, followed by the spectacular fireworks display at the marina in the evening.
Each morning during the festival enjoy an outdoor breakfast in Victoria Park sponsored by The Chamber of Commerce, then visit the Lion’s Club Art Show and Sale in Victoria Park and the Rotary Club’s Arts and Crafts Show at our Marina. Both shows are under tents so the shows go on ‘come rain or come shine’!
As a special treat for both young and old over the weekend the thrilling Sky Hawks Canadian Forces Parachute Team will grace us with their display of aerial acrobatics.
